We’ve been friends for more than a decade now. Friends sila ng kuya ko, na eventually naging mas close ako sa kanila… ehehehe.. Dati we hang out a lot, laging magkakasama everyday.. Siguro dahil magkapitbahay lang kami sa GSIS. Lahat yata ng important events sa buhay ko nakicelebrate sya, simula ng debut ko, nakagraduate ako, nakapasa sa board exam, first job, first bf, first abroad… and sa lahat ng down moments ko, heartaches, frustrations… Pero sa lahat ng mga naging close friends ko, sya lang yata yung nandyan pa rin…
Then she decided to go abroad, then ako naman nagwork din abroad.. So we seldom see each other… Well, we are not the kind of friends na araw araw nagkikita, araw araw nag uusap or nagcchat or nagttxt. Parang minsan nga 1yr kaming di nag uusap.. at eto pa, nakakalimutan nga namin ang birthday ng isa’t isa… ahahahahha… Ngayon parehas kaming nasa pinas, swerte na ang isang taon na magkita kami… swerte na rin na sa isang bwan naaalalang magtxt..
What’s good about our friendship? It feels like home, every time na magkakaroon kami ng chance na magkita. It feels refreshing; we’re still the same as before… We are still comfortable with each other.. yung tipong nasasabi mo pa rin un mga bagay bagay.. nakakapag emote ka pa rin sa kanya, nakakapagsabi ng kadramahan mo sa buhay.. It’s like no time has passed at all. You pick up where you left off, kulang ang isang gabi sa kwentuhan… And I’m thankful, even some trusted friends fails you, there’s still somebody who’ll remain your friend.. And I know, she will always be there for me… It’s nice to see her again.. J
Friendship is not measure on how you talk often or see each other often; I guess if it’s real, it’s real kahit saan pa kayo makarating.
